Why a High School Journalism Class is Important

The Newspaper Association of America did a study which proved high school journalism students perform better on standardized tests, have higher GPAs and earn higher grades their first semester of college than their classmates.

Writing. Photography. Communication. Ethics. Video. Web design. Interviewing. Fact gathering. Graphic design. Project based. Time management. Workplace skills. Marketing: All things learned in a journalism class. All things students will use almost daily in the future.

Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT's)

The Teachers of Tomorrow program is a year long course that prepares students to go into teaching careers. Students will intern at an off site elementary school with teachers, attend monthly meetings at school during lunch, along with completing activity logs and other projects.
