CAMP PURPOSE:

 Royal Basketball Camp aims to offer quality, affordable instruction in fundamental basketball skills.  Learning and refining these fundamental skills will help each player reach their individual potential.  Self-motivation and self-discipline will be stressed.  A player's responsibility to his teammates and coach will be reinforced.  The camp will emphasize skills that will benefit the players in basketball and in life.

 CAMP SCHEDULE:

 8:30 - 9:00 Registration/Check-in

 9:00 - 9:30 Individual Offensive Skill Development

 9:30 - 10:00 Individual Defense Skill Development

10:00 - 10:30 Team Concepts

10:30 - 10:40 Break

10:40 - 11:10 Games/Video Break Down

11:10 - 12:00 3 on 3 games

12:00 - 12:20 Lunch

12:20 - 12:50 Games/Video Break Down 

12:50 - 1:00 Awards

STAFF:

The Royal Basketball Camp's outstanding reputation has been attained through the efforts of an experienced, enthusiastic camp staff.  Royal Varsity Coach Craig Griffin (2010-11 Coach of the Year, 2012 and 2013 CIF Finalist, State Tournament) has 17+ years of coaching experience  The camp staff also includes Assistant Coaches:

Richard Griffin (40+ years of experience, over 600 wins)

Kevin Habroun,Shana Moore, Aaron Haney as well as current and former players from the Royal Basketball teams.

 

CONCESSIONS: 

The snack bar will be open during the camp selling snacks and drinks. We do sell Pizza ($2) and Waters/Gatorade ($1) at lunch.
